“ Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a single-camera ensemble comedy about what happens when a talented, but carefree, detective gets a new captain with a lot to prove. Detective Jake Peralta (Samberg) is a good enough cop that he’s never had to work that hard or follow the rules too closely. Perhaps because he has the best arrest record among his colleagues, he’s been enabled – if not indulged – throughout his entire career. That is, until the precinct gets a new commanding officer, Captain Ray Holt (Braugher), who reminds this hotshot cop to respect the badge. ” + Rating: 14a Starring: Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Stephanie Beatriz, Melissa Fumero, Terry Crews, Joe Lo Truglio, Chelsea Peretti
Country: United States FREMULON comedy / crime / police
AUTHOR'S NOTES :
Representation DONE RIGHT!
Sexuality IS a character trait, but one of MANY. ie. Captain Raymond Holt is the Captain of the 99th precinct. After years of outstanding service he gets his first command. Though he does not 'emote', which apparently isn’t necessary for his husband and their friends to read him, the detectives under his care soon become family.
Sexuality IS NOT the DEFINING character trait. ie. Captain Raymond Holt is a GAY police Captain!
