Is it just me or are all of Phichit Chulanont’s routines a shout-out to the musical “The King and I”?

I mean, the songs for his routines are “The King and the Skater” and “The King and the Skater II”. Phichit is a skater so, being the one performing to said songs, he could be considered the ‘I’ from “The King and I”, right?

HOWEVER!

Phichit is FROM Thailand, REPRESENTS Thailand and has won many medals FOR Thailand. Therefore, he could also be considered the ‘King’ from “The King and I” because the musical takes place in Siam which is now called...
